About Stephanie
ABOUT THE ARTIST
Originally from Wilmington, DE Stephanie earned her BFA from the Rhode Island School of Design and a master’s degree in Art Education from the University of the Arts. She has continued her study of painting at the Barnes Foundation, the National Gallery of Art, Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts (PAFA), and Moore College of Art & Design.
Though her paintings range in style, media and subject matter, each piece explores her endless interest in the interaction of color and light. Whether created en plein air (outdoors) or in her home studio, each work of art is an attempt to capture fleeting moments in time and the expressive qualities of the subject. Stephanie's award- winning artwork has been exhibited nationally in galleries and museums and is held in private collections throughout the world.
